Refund and Returns Policy

We understand that sometimes a purchase may not meet your expectations. At Coughlan Fuels, we strive to ensure a hassle-free return process to assist you.
 
Return Period:
All products may be returned to our location in Carrigtwohill, Co. Cork, within 14 days of the delivery date, and the returned goods must reach us within 14 days from the date you notified us of your intent to return.
 
Condition of Returned Goods:
We accept opened products for inspection, but they must not have been used and should be securely repackaged in their original packaging for the return to be processed.
 
If we find that the goods have been used or have lost value due to damage during your care or during the return journey to us, we reserve the right to reduce the refund amount, which could equal the full product cost, to account for this loss of value.
 
Please note that we do not accept responsibility for goods that are damaged or lost during transit to our facility.
 
Return Costs:
The cost of return, including packaging and shipping, is the sole responsibility of the customer.
 
Our Returns Policy:
We accept returns for products that are unopened and in “As New Condition” within 7 days of purchase. The customer is responsible for transport costs associated with the return. Additionally, if you initially received the product with free shipping, the actual shipping cost we incurred to deliver the product to you will be deducted from your refund. We will also deduct the credit card company’s charge of 2% of the invoice amount from the refund. Please note that a minimum handling and repacking charge of 10% applies to all returns, as a product that has been sold and shipped out cannot be resold as new.
 
Damaged Product:
If you receive a damaged product from us, please report the damage to us via phone or email within 24 hours of receiving the goods. We kindly ask that you inspect your items upon delivery.
 
Initiating the Returns Process:
To begin the returns process, please email us at info@coughlanfuels.com and ensure that your email contains the following information: your name, phone number, Order I.D, the item you wish to return, the reason for the return, and, if the product is damaged, include photos of the product.
 
Once we receive all the necessary information, a member of our team will evaluate your claim and contact you as soon as possible. We request that you refrain from returning products until a team member has contacted you to confirm the return.
 
Packaging:
Ensure that all returns include the complete product, and package them appropriately for shipping. We cannot assume responsibility for any damages or losses that occur during the return shipping process.

Refunds:
Once the returned product reaches us and undergoes a thorough inspection, a refund will be issued.
